I want to like this DQ....I've tried many times, but every time they fall short. So I'm officially done, and I've deemed this place the worst DQ I've ever been too. First they actually make their standard Blizzards with less ingredients than any of the other DQ's...yes I've compared the same Blizzard with another DQ right down the street. So 2 weeks ago when I went to hopelessly try them again, they fell short again. I called the manager that evening, he apologized and said that they will do better. He took my name and order and said next time I come in the Blizzard is free. He made things right, as he should have, and I was pleased. Well I walked in tonight and of course, they fall so short that I'm just done. No one could find my name anywhere. The cashier girl made me wait while she made phone calls to her manager. She couldn't get a hold of anyone and of course there was nothing she could do about it. Seriously, how do you leave a place of business without someone in charge that can make simple decisions, like good customer service? I had to pay for the Blizzard that was suppose to be free because of their mess up last time and looks just as bad as the last one I had 2 weeks ago. We go and get DQ at least once a week if not twice in the summer time and I can confidently say that I'm done.

Staff is friendly, treats are tasty. I think it would be hard to mess up at a dairy queen.

For me Dairy Queen falls in the category of convenience. I would prefer something else however if DQ is convenient it will satisfy my sweet tooth. I ordered a Blizzard which was meh. Just what I asked for cookie dough and peanut butter Blizzard (because why not). I wanted something sweet and cold (check, check). I found the taste to be lackluster and overall fake, yes it tasted fake. DQ doesn't offer the quality I like but in a pinch they will serve as my sweet treat place.

Sometimes their ice cream is soft and creamy and other times it's not; as with the toppings (cookie dough etc.) sometimes it's nice and soft and other times it is not. My biggest pet peeve about this place is that once you get half way thru your blizzard, it ends up only being ice cream and none of the toppings. Very annoying because that means they are only loading a few toppings on top barely mixing it, not making it a true blizzard! I gave it two stars because i finally got tired of being disappointed with my blizzard and they were kind enough to refund me my money once, so they did the right thing!

My brother and I had to find the "Worst Dairy Queen in Denver" and from the 1-star review on this one, we decided to check it out to see if it lived up to the hype of truly being the worst. There was plenty of parking as there was only one customer in the place. We were shocked to find this DQ was cleaner and the staff was friendlier than expected by the 1-star review. We ordered a hot dog, BLT, a sundae and Oreo blizzard. The food was tasty and the desert was pretty good. We did not have any qualms other than we were pleasantly surprised as it exceeded our 1-star impressions from another visitor. While it is certainly not the best Dairy Queen, it is definitely not the worst!
